We offer member-owners two auto pay options: Automatic Bank Draft and Automatic Credit Card Payment. Learn more about each and get details on how to sign-up below.
Automatic Bank Draft
The Automatic Bank Draft Program authorizes SMPA to withdraw funds each month directly from your bank account, saving you both time and postage. Each month a statement will be sent to you with the message "AUTOPAY," and shortly after the due date, a draft will be made from your designated bank account. Your bank statement will show the date and amount deducted as "SMPA Electric Bill".
To sign-up for automatic back draft, download the Auto Bank Draft Form and drop-off, mail or fax it in to your local SMPA office.
Automatic Credit Card Payment
The Automatic Credit Card Payment Program gives you the option of paying your electric bill one time or automatically every month with your Visa, MasterCard or Discover card. You can store all of your payment information online, so that you don’t have to re-enter your credit card information each month.
To sign-up for automatic credit card payments, download the Credit Card Authorization Form and drop-off, mail or fax it in to your local SMPA office.
